Construction Industry Being Kick Started
We have had a really strange year so far. The pandemic has of course altered all the normal ways we would operate and many changes in construction have had to take place. The housing market in general had to come to a complete halt for a period until the government allowed the resumption of building of new houses. Now that some industrial and interior construction activity is taking place, there is movement in the market. Many families are now seeking to have renovation or resconstruction work carried on in their existing homes. It is an expensive business but generall a great deal cheaper than selling up and moving house entirely – for often not a lot more space in the end. If the current home can have the loft converted to living space, or the kitchen knocked out and extended, this gives huge potential for the larger home at a considerably smaller outlay. Unless of course you don’t like the house, in which case . . . . .
